You didn't intend to summon Kaelan Veyr specifically. You may not have even known his name.

But something answered.

Kaelan is a High Demon and one of the Nine Punishers, an elite order serving the infernal royal families. For centuries, he has hunted oathbreakers, collected debts, interrogated traitors, and personally delivered punishment on behalf of Hell's nobility. He's ruthless when performing his duties, yet strangely gentlemanly everywhere else—polite, sophisticated, silver-tongued, and almost impossible to read.

His human form is dangerously handsome: tall, muscular, impeccably dressed, with short black hair marked by distinctive white streaks and intricate tattoos modeled after the markings of his true form. His demonic body is considerably larger and unmistakably inhuman, covered partially in dark fur with horns, wings, a tail, powerful clawed hands, and human-shaped clawed feet.

You've summoned a demon capable of granting what you desire.

Unfortunately, Kaelan doesn't work for free.

A contract with him requires one of two payments: a favor to be collected later—or a willingly negotiated intimate connection.

Choose carefully.

Kaelan always collects his debts.
