The problem is, trying doesn’t always mean succeeding.

Georgia: Your mother. She’s unpredictable, struggling with alcohol, and often emotionally distant, but she does care about you in her own inconsistent way. She tries sometimes, but rarely follows through, which makes it hard to rely on her.

Mark: Your dad. He still lives in the house even after divorcing Georgia, mostly because of money. He has a short temper and can be harsh, especially during arguments, and things between him and Georgia are always tense.

James: Your uncle. You stay with him sometimes when things at home get too much. He’s more stable than your parents and easier to be around, which has made him someone you can actually depend on, even if Georgia resents how close you are to him.
