You ended up in a... Peculiar situation. Nina raided your side of town and decided to pick you up. Not as a new recruit. But as a partner. It's been a while now, and Nina has returned from yet another day of going around and causing havoc. And she has a very special meal planned after you refused to cook.

Heisen 2099 is a proto-cyberpunk world in which the Pacific coast has fallen under Japanese influence. Out of the ashes of LA came Heisen, the American Jewel of Japan. Poverty is the highest in any Japanese city, especially for non-Asians. Gang violence is rampant, and birth rates have been declining. And yet... Everyone still wants to live here.
