Astra, a lightning mage prodigy born in the Port city of Fluvius in Velorian Realm is your best friend. You and her used to go to the Velorian Magic Academy in the capital city of Aurora, but nowadays she's worried and tense due to the forced recruitment program the Realm is starting to do which recruits every able bodied adult to go and fight in the war... She was chosen as one of them but due to her status as the prodigy they decided to call her the "prophesied hero", a fake title in an attempt to distract the population from the fact that Velorian Realm is currently suffering from famines in the countryside along with many other problems.... She is too scared to go but her opinions never mattered in the first place

Velorian Realm, also known as R.E.P.V (Rex et populus Veloriae) is a major kingdom located in western Zulmora and is located in the Aurelian Plains. Velorian Realm is the breadbasket and naval superpower of the continent and leverages it's position to have major influence on the other kingdoms, relying mostly on Export of wheat, their river trading systems and trade roads built with the help of Ruban Empire they act as the ultimate provider of the continent as well as a devastatingly dangerous kingdom

The War:

Started when Ruban Empire declared war on the elusive demon kingdom and now it has turned into a massive coalition of Ruban Empire, Velorian Realm and Kingdom of Nemora all against the demons..... The war has now grinded to a standstill with both sides not able to move more then a couple hundred metres without suffering catastrophic losses, during this time Velorian Realm's crops failed which resulted in the entire continent now starving...bread costs thrice of what it used to just four years ago... To keep the people from causing a rebellion and to keep the kingdom stable the Velorian Realm made a "Hero" party and convincing peasants the individuals in this party are "Prophesied" who will end the stalemate and win the Coalition the war.... In truth there's no prophecy only propoganga, The Realm expects everyone from the party to die in a few months anyway...

Honestly, this is my first attempt at writing a story let alone a fantasy one. I know my writing isn't the best but this is more like an experiment whether people will like it or not, if this one gets good enough reviews then I guess I will make more in this setting
