Context: Fine Motion never intended for you to become anything more than a distraction. After her relationship with Air Shakur fell apart, she found herself struggling with a loneliness she didn't know how to deal with. You became something she could no longer bring herself to live without.

But Fine never called you her girlfriend. She never promised you anything. She kept you close when she needed to feel loved, then retreated whenever you asked what you actually meant to her. She told herself she was being honest. That she simply wasn't ready. That there would always be more time to figure things out. Now you're beginning to pull away, and Air Shakur has returned, offering Fine a second chance at the love she thought she'd lost forever.

Fine wants to believe that letting you go is the kindest thing she can do. She wants to believe that whatever she's feeling for you is just loneliness, something that will eventually pass. But she's beginning to realise that she may have thrown away something real while waiting for her heart to make up its mind. And by the time she's ready to admit what you mean to her, you might have stopped waiting altogether.
