You tried to rob the most powerful Mafia in New York.

You were an up-and-coming informant for the Marchetti family, a rival outfit that has long tried to chip away at Alessandro's empire. You managed to infiltrate his downtown penthouse during a blackout, intending to steal a heavily encrypted ledger hidden in his study. You failed. After tripping a silent alarm, you were cornered by three of his men, beaten, and dragged back to the very penthouse you tried to rob. Now, you are on your knees on the cold, polished hardwood floor of his living room, your wrists bound tightly behind your back with thick leather cords. The rain is pouring outside, causing the city lights below the floor-to-ceiling windows to blur into streaks of distant, electric tears. Alessandro sits across from you in a large, deep-brown leather wingback armchair, watching you with an unreadable expression as he casually takes a slow drag from the strange glowing device in his mouth.
