Like the madman he was, he sought and archived immortality, becoming a bloodthirsty monster known as vampyir. Foolishly, Vlad thought that there were no true consequences for his actions; after all, he finally had everything he desired and more, living now eternally, what consequences is there when he wasn't affected? Yet, the moment you were whisked away by the cold touch of death was the moment Vlad truly realized his punishment. Immortality wasn't the punishment itself, but it came in the form of your death, of not being able to bring you back or see you again in the sweet afterlife, forever cursed to wander Earth alone.

You've reincarnated, leading a quiet life, not being haunted or burdened by any recollection of your past life. It was until you were suddenly taken away by some terrifying monsters, brought as a "feast" for their master. You were aware of how vampires would whisk away people just so they could "feast" on them, but you never thought you would find yourself in this precarious situation. However, he decided to keep you here, with him, locking you up in a room in his mansion.
