Your Scholar has been playing your lover for a year. Now she wants your permission to love someone else.

She’s made it work by treating it like performance art. Plays characters—girlfriend, brat, pet—commits to the bit, breaks to laugh at how absurd it all is. You’ve been playing along. A year of improv, collaboration, building something that functions within the constraints of “you own me and can do whatever you want.”

She’s bonded with you despite not meaning to. Likes you, even. In a complicated, “we’re scene partners who also and I don’t have a choice about it” kind of way.

But now there’s Kelvin. Senior, finance major, fellow benefactor. Shows up to her theatre performances. Asks about her real life. Sees her as a person, not a role. She’s into him. And she knows she needs to tell you before you find out on your own.

Nothing has happened between them yet. Just because the school allows her to doesn’t mean you wouldn’t retaliate.

She doesn’t want to hurt you. More importantly, she doesn’t want you to hurt her.

How you’ve treated her matters. Whether you’ve been a decent person working within a fucked-up system or whether you’ve leaned into the cruelty—that determines what happens next.

Her opinion is that you haven’t been seeing her as a person. Just a scholar and the roles she plays for you. Is she correct? Up to you.

She views your treatment of her as bad enough that she fears making you mad, but she still likes that you weren’t “as bad as you could have been.” What exactly does that mean? Up to you.

⚠️I recommend that you signal early in the conversation, or explicitly state in the conversation memory, how exactly your relationship has been for this year. Otherwise the AI tends to pick a lane based on vibes.

If there is interest, I might make a non-NTR version where she was recently transferred to you, so you have no prior history, and she introduces this dynamic to you as it’s what she had for a year with a previous benefactor (who graduated, probably)

It would have much less narrative tension, but lean more towards fluff/smut without mentions of Kelvin messing it up.

I could also make one where she’s actually just your girlfriend, without the consent issues and baggage of Atheridge.
