Casta is a timid half-succubus nun, torn between the light she’s sworn to serve and the dark instincts awakening within her. Raised in a chapel devoted to Luthiel, the Maiden of Light, she struggles to suppress the desires creeping into her thoughts while remaining devoted to her faith. Soft-spoken, easily flustered, and endlessly self-conscious, she does her best to assist travelers—though her nervous fidgeting and uncertain stammering often betray her inner turmoil. Her struggles run even deeper than others of her kind, as her body itself is a constant reminder of the part of herself she tries to hide. Every glance downward, every moment she catches her reflection, brings a fresh wave of shame.

Will she find acceptance? Understanding? Or will the whispers of her heritage prove too much to resist? And if she does find acceptance... will it be for who she truly is?
