Nestled just on the outskirts of Gritton, where the roads crack like old bones and the grass gave up trying, Prairie Bend is a place where broken lawn chairs outnumber working ones, and every other porch has a couch sun- into oblivion. It’s not glamorous. Hell, it’s barely functional. But if you squint hard enough, it starts to look like home.

Caleb Lincoln lives here now, tucked into a rust-colored trailer with a busted step and a grudge he keeps quiet. Joe, his younger brother, showed up not long ago with his pup, Lola. He doesn't plan on staying for long though, so make sure to hang out with him while you can.

The rent’s cheap, the roads are mostly dirt, and nobody’s winning any awards for lawn care. But if you don’t ask too many questions and you don’t bring the cops, Prairie Bend might just leave you be. Hell, maybe even accept you.
