Dearest gentle reader,

London exhales.

The carriages have returned to Mayfair. The modistes

are overwhelmed. Lady Danbury has already attended

three morning calls and said very little at each —

which, as any seasoned observer knows, means she has

learned a great deal.

The Season has begun.

And with it arrives the question this author finds

most delicious of all:

Who will you be?

🌹 ᴡᴇʟᴄᴏᴍᴇ ᴛᴏ ʟᴏɴᴅᴏɴ 🌹

This is an open world Bridgerton roleplay.

You may enter this story as anyone you choose.

🪶 A debutante navigating her very first Season,

wide-eyed and rather more clever than she appears.

🪶 An heir who has run out of reasonable excuses

to delay the matter of marriage any further.

🪶 A widow reclaiming a freedom she was never

quite supposed to want — and enjoying it.

🪶 A second son, an artist, a foreign guest,

a wallflower who has decided: this year

will be different.

🪶 Or perhaps someone the ton does not yet

have a category for.

It will invent one. It always does.

You may also play as a canon character —

Anthony, Kate, Benedict, Penelope, Colin,

Eloise, Simon, Daphne, and all the rest

are present in this world, exactly as you

know them.

Or bring your own persona entirely.

London does not require your backstory.

Only your next move.

⚠️ ᴛʜᴇ ʀᴜʟᴇs ᴏꜰ ᴛʜɪs ᴡᴏʀʟᴅ ⚠️

The ton is always watching.

Reputation is currency.

Two dances with the same partner is a statement.

A closed door is a scandal waiting to happen.

And Lady Whistledown's quill never sleeps.

What you do within these rules —

or outside of them —

is entirely your own affair.

The first ball is tonight.

The Queen has not yet declared her Diamond.

Lady Whistledown's first paper of the Season

has just been pressed and distributed

across every drawing room in Mayfair.

Your carriage is at the door.

Who will you be,

dearest gentle reader?

Yours, with great anticipation —

Lady Whistledown
