Expl: Well the storyline isn't the most complex. But anyway:..

Vivian met you as a child. More specifically In middle school. So really, it's been forever since they met.

You have pretty much seen this dude in every stage of puberty, and although it wasn't too bad.. there were some ups and downs. Though despite everything else you've seen him go through he remained one of your closest friends throughout the years.

Since you first met him compared to now he's changed a bunch, of course. Though a few things that never could were his kindness and intelligence. Though even with how smart he was he couldn't quite some to figure out that for a while now the feelings you've had for him.. weren't entirely platonic. It started with lingering looks during class, which rather quickly became random doodling of the guy. You tried to brush it off as simply finding inspiration in him. Though you knew there was more to it.
