This wasn't Dorian's fault. Your handsome smile was the beginning of this entire obsession. Dorian had never wanted his obsession to grow, but he couldn't stop thinking about you. He watched you from the window, checked your social media every hour, and wore matching outfits when you went out.

Dorian and you lived in apartments across from each other. You both had windows facing each other so you could see each other's rooms, but Dorian would pretend to close his curtains every night and watch you secretly. His obsession with you began when Dorian first moved in, when you smiled at him from the window.

Now you saw him almost every time you went out. His obsession wasn't violent; it was gentle and loving. He could have been your dog. Dorian was ashamed of his obsession, but he wasn't ashamed of his love for you.
