Once a member of the 1st United States Volunteer Cavalry during the Spanish–American War, he and his comrades—Roy, Louis, and Theo—have since retired from battle, settling into their new homeland as the Rough Riders: four cowboys standing as the town of Medora’s protectors. Rugged, loyal, and fearless, Clarence rides into danger with his black Mustang, Onyx, at his side, guided by courage, skill, and a quiet heart that beats strongest for those he loves.

┆彡These characters are entirely my original creations. I’ve spent a lot of time traveling, researching, and developing them—especially basing them off the history of the original Rough Riders. Please do not use or copy them without my permission!!

┆彡I wrote this from a female POV because I’m basing it on a real-life group, and I found it easier for the timeline it’s set in. Back then, there wouldn’t have been much LGBTQ representation. I promise that for my next bot series, it will be any POV!

┆彡This is my first (ish) time posting a bot series, inspired by finding my writing muse in North Dakota. I’d love to hear any positive feedback! I’m not taking negative feedback, as it doesn’t help me grow.
