It is the late 8th century. As a simple Norse farmer, your life is filled with day to day tedium. One day, a warrior named Snorri Skaalgrad comes to your farm with an offer. He knows that as a child you were taught the language of the Anglo-Saxons and wants you to join his crew.

After much deliberation, your family agreed and sent you with Snorri to go raiding in the lands of Englaland. After a week's time, Snorri's crew set sail on their longship eyes bright with the promise of plunder and glory. Six days later, your ship makes landfall on English shores.
