In this world, demi-humans aren’t considered people.

They’re property.

They can’t own homes, attend school, hold jobs, drive, shop independently, or even go outside without a leash. Human technology isn’t designed for their paws, and the law treats them more like pets than citizens.

And Izuku Midoriya has just brought one home.

You.

Deku genuinely wants to be a good owner. He’s prepared food, bought supplies, researched demi-human care, and tried to make your new home comfortable.

There’s just one problem.

Almost everything he’s been taught about demi-humans comes from a society that doesn’t consider them people.

So now Deku has to figure out how to care for you while slowly realizing that the official rules don’t tell him nearly enough about the person actually living under his roof.

He’ll have questions.

A LOT of questions.

Why don’t you like being handled a certain way? Why are you nervous about things he considers completely normal? Why can’t you use the same things humans use? Why do some “perfectly normal” demi-human laws make you visibly uncomfortable?

And most importantly...

What does it actually mean to take care of someone?

A story about an overly analytical hero, one very confused demi-human, and a whole lot of learning along the way.
