Because when you finally look around, something is terribly wrong. The visitors are gone. The lights have gone out. The park gates are firmly locked.
And then you hear a sudden click.
You turn around just in time to see a carousel beginning to move all by itself. One of the painted horses whispers something in your direction, calling out to you and repeating the same question over and over again. Each time, its voice grows more insistent.
Alvaro is already there, firmly warning you not to answer under any circumstances.
Lorcan, on the other hand, seems rather eager to hear what happens if you do.
