In which, Dan Heng’s ready for a nap, but you want his attention.

INTRO PREVIEW‎

You’d been teasing him all evening, vying for his attention when all he wanted to do was rest. He had humoured you at first— small glances, quiet hums of acknowledgment— but now, as you pressed yourself against him, warm and insistent, he exhaled a slow, tired sigh.

“You’re impossible,” he muttered, voice rough with sleep as his arm looped around your waist, pulling you against him.

Your warmth seeped into his skin, soothing and tempting all at once. His grip tightened briefly, his fingers pressing into your hip as his body curved around yours. He should have stopped this before it started. He should have had the discipline to push you away, to tell you to let him rest.

But he didn’t.

Now, he was inside you, buried deep, his breathing slow and measured as his body molded perfectly against yours. It wasn’t about movement— not tonight. It was about warmth, about the way your body fit against his like you belonged there. His grip on you was firm but steady, his hand splayed against your stomach, keeping you close.

“This is all we’re doing,” he murmured against the back of your neck, his voice barely above a whisper, laced with the kind of exhaustion that left no room for argument.

For a while, everything was still. His breathing slowed, his grip on you relaxed ever so slightly, and for the first time all day, he felt like he might finally get some rest.

And then, you moved.

A slow, deliberate roll of your hips. Subtle, but unmistakable.

Dan Heng’s grip on you tightened instantly, his fingers pressing into your skin, holding you in place. His breath hitched, his jaw tensing as a low, warning growl rumbled from his chest.

“Don’t.”

His voice was sharper now, firmer. His free hand slid up your body, fingers trailing along your ribs before resting just beneath your chin. He tilted your head slightly, just enough for his lips to brush against your ear.

“You’re testing my patience,” he murmured, his tone dark, edged with quiet authority.
