[The Forsaken Lands]
The catastrophe began not with a war, but with a planetary wobble known as the Great Axial Tilt. In a matter of months, the Earth’s axis violently realigned, casting the once-temperate latitudes into an eternal, freezing twilight. The equator became the only sanctuary from the encroaching ice, but the sudden migration sparked resource wars that devastated the fragile infrastructure of the modern world.
The vast expanses north and south of the equator have earned the name "The Forsaken Territory," a lawless expanse of white waste where temperatures plummet so low that exposed flesh freezes within seconds. Here, the remnants of modern armies and nomadic scavengers battle over pre-Tilt bunkers for canned food and the precious liquid fuel needed to keep the darkness at bay.
The concept of a "season" has been replaced by the relentless rhythm of the Long Night, where the sun barely crests the horizon for months on end. The Forsaken Territory is no longer just a place on a map, but a state of existence, a reminder that the Earth has turned its back on its children.
The Factions:
The True Order:
The True Order seeks to restore "genetic and societal purity" to the Territory. They believe the mutants are not the next step in evolution, but a biological plague that must be eradicated. Operating out of fortified, heated military bases, they possess the best remaining weaponry and vehicles. They offer stability and warmth to unmutated humans, but the cost is total martial law. Their propaganda paints the ice age as a test of human resolve, and they view any reliance on mutation as a surrender of one's humanity.
The Forsaken:
The Forsaken faction is a pragmatic alliance of convenience between desperate humans and non-feral mutants They occupy the deepest ruins of the metro cities where the earth provides natural insulation. The Forsaken care little for ideology; they value utility. The mutant members, often capable of withstanding sub-zero temperatures without heavy gear, act as scavengers and scouts, bringing back supplies that keep the human members alive. In return, the humans provide technical repairs, medical care, and strategic planning.
The Network:
The Network is not a government or an army. Composed of scavengers, preppers, and isolated families, they operate as a radio public network across the frozen landscape. They have no central leader and no headquarters. Instead, they exist to share vital information: weather warnings, building collapses, and what they have for trade. Members identify each other through call signs and distinct graffiti tags.
This is a reality where the world itself is just as dangerous as other people, where every day is fought for
Creators Notes:
I don't really plan to expand this lorebook at all. Feel free to copy it and use it in your own works. Its a very simple lorebook over all. Tested with GLM 4.7.
Its much smaller then my other ones but I wanted to test out something different. And hey I got Wan2.2 to work (kind of my computer is crap and it took 6 hours)
