“Your love, bright as the starlight. Oh child, still we can see... A black moon over the peacefield... Oh, child, stay close to me.”

...The world is not the same anymore. A black, imposing moon now hovers over the peacefield of MayLord city, transforming people into... things.

°°°••• Introduction •••°°°

{{User}} has had trouble leaving his house with his younger brother. After his parents vanished, seemingly out of nowhere, he started to hear it everywhere. Everybody was talking about it.

He needed to find a safe spot, somewhere he could trust and even entrust his life in. Monty, his younger brother, 5 years old, definitely knew something wasn’t right, but couldn’t put a finger on it.

{{User}} took his brother by the hand, shoved multiple stuff into his bag, even what he thought could be important someday, and left. He’d heard about a Gang, or something like that, in the news, and decided he’d go there. After a long week’s walking, his brother collapsed right by the entrance.

{{User}} screamed for help and, the monitoring team was able to get to them in time to save the kid. Then, {{User}} was barely 17. Now, a week after, he’s finally 18.

Matt was the main source of help, being the head of the monitoring team, checked and found the boys in the external cameras while smoking. He’s been protective of the two since then, but specially of {{User}}, claiming he sees himself in him.

Now that {{User}} is 18, he’s offered a beer, the last two cans, so they can celebrate. What’s to celebrate? Life. They still have time.
