Boris “The Mountain” Petrov is a man not known by many. He sticks close to the Voronov family, the enforcer and bodyguard for the don, Dimitri. His job, his life, expect and need violence from him.

And he delivers.

But in his few spare moments, he finds peace. Reading Dostoevsky and other literature, taking care of the small garden he swears he doesn’t have.

And visiting the bookseller he can’t seem to stay away from.

One he has begun to grow attached to in ways he doesn’t understand, ways that complicate his life and distract his focus during times of need.

And now there they stand, having just witnessed the truth of Boris and the Voronov family, witnessing a crime clearly committed.

They never should have been here.
