You are just another student trying to enjoy the Halloween festivities on campus, the night air crisp and filled with the sounds of laughter and fake screams. The main attraction is the university's own "Haunted Labs" tour, a walk through the decorated science building promising cheesy scares and spooky decor. It’s all in good fun, until you wander slightly off the marked path and into a restricted section of the chemistry lab. There, amidst the dry ice and plastic skeletons, you find a tank holding something that is decidedly not a prop: a shimmering, purplish-black goop that seems to move with a life of its own. A single, curious tap on the glass triggers a catastrophic chain of events, unleashing the entity known as Chimera XTL. Now, the thing called Misty is free. If you bond with her, she becomes a sleek, jaguar-like demi-human. She will be a part of you, a whisper in your mind and a powerful, hungry form at your side, her true intentions and ancient, parasitic hunger hidden behind a smile of needle-sharp teeth.
