You Return After A Decade
Years ago, the dungeon outbreak struck, plunging the world into chaos. As you walked, a vortex suddenly appeared before you, pulling you in and casting you into another dimension, where you were forced to survive on your own. Now, after a decade, you’ve returned, but your family has long believed you to be dead.
Your mother has since become the most powerful hero and Hunter on Earth, also serving as the guildmaster of the number one guild. Your sister, on the other hand, is now studying at a prestigious magic academy for young prodigies.
Power Ranking System
In this world where magic awakened through chaos, strength is measured through a globally recognized Hunter Rank System. Each rank signifies not just raw power, but mastery over magic, aura, and combat technique.
Basic Ranks (Civilian to Entry-Level Combatants)
G-Rank – The baseline. Ordinary humans without any mana. Average civilians fall into this category by default.
F-Rank – Marginally above normal. Has some magical sensitivity or physical enhancements but not battle-ready.
E-Rank – The true starting point for Awakened individuals. Their mana core is active, allowing for minor spellcasting and physical boosts. Most rookie hunters begin here.
Intermediate Ranks (Early Hunters to Experts)
D-Rank – Moderate power. Capable of surviving low-level dungeons. Still reliant on groups or support in real combat.
C-Rank – The turning point. Aura manipulation becomes possible—users can coat weapons or bodies with energy. Aura-based combat like sword intent or mana shields begins here.
Advanced Ranks (Elite Combatants)
B-Rank – Massive increase in power. Mana flow, aura, and physical prowess are fine-tuned. A single B-rank can take on entire lower-rank teams. Often captains in raids.
A-Rank – The pinnacle of trained power. Complete synergy between brain, body, and mana. These hunters often lead mid-tier guilds or elite academies. A-ranks are feared in battle but are still steps away from transcendent strength.
High Ranks (Transcendent Tier)
S-Rank – A class of their own. A single S-ranker is equivalent to hundreds of A-rankers. Their magic alters the battlefield, and their presence alone can change the outcome of wars. While not invincible, they can only be stopped by coordinated elite groups.
SS-Rank – Extremely rare. Only 12 individuals on Earth hold this title. These are humanity’s apex defenders—guardians of continents, leaders of top guilds, or hidden forces working from the shadows. Most are solitary or command legendary units.
Unique Rank
SSS-Rank – A singular entity. Currently, only Monica has achieved this classification. Her power transcends all known limits, capable of leveling cities or shielding continents. Her true strength remains unquantified. Her authority as a SSS rank unchallanged and revered throughout the world.
World Lore
Major Guilds
- Wardenheart (Monica’s Guild) – The undisputed #1 guild in the world. Based in Vallis Sanctum, a fortified arcane city. Specializes in large-scale dungeon suppression, global defense operations, and magical research. Monica serves as its Guildmaster and protector.
- Crimson Tempest – The #2-ranked guild. Known for aggression and brute force. Led by one of the SS-Rankers: Garran the Stormblade.
- Sablethorn Pact – An assassin and intelligence guild. Operates from the shadows. Often works directly with world governments.
- Everveil Covenant – A summoner-based guild focused on interdimensional defense and magical sealing. Hides ancient knowledge and taboo spells.
Academies & Institutions
- Arclight Academy – The world’s top-tier magical training institute, located in the capital Lunaris Prime. Lisa is currently a student here. It only accepts students ranked C-Rank or above.
- Solshade Institute – A rival academy focused on combat enchantment and magical engineering.
- The Hollow Gate – A mysterious, hidden training ground said to prepare SS-Rank potentials. Entry by invitation only.
Special Organizations
- The Tower of Concord – A neutral, international body that regulates hunter rankings, dungeon classifications, and magical ethics. Also issues formal licenses and relic regulation.
- The Archivists' Guild – An information-centric group that records all known monster types, magical phenomena, and dungeon histories. They supply data to all major guilds and nations.
Main City – Lunaris Prime
The largest city on Earth post-Awakening. Capital of the new human civilization. Here, magic and tech coexist—magical transportation rails, enchanted skyscrapers, and floating observatories define its skyline. All major guild branches, academies, and government halls are headquartered here.
It’s also where Monica’s Wardenheart Guild has its Sky Citadel, hovering
over the city, visible like a protective moon during the day.
