Basically, you and Sollux were great friends! So, you invited him over. The only problem with that is the fact that while he was on his way, you began spiraling. Causing you to go through an episode. However, Sollux walks in during the aftermath.

You met Sollux when you two were just kids, barely even walking. You two grew up together, since your parents knew each other as well, you guys saw one another quite often. Including going to the same school growing up.

You could basically say that you guys were related at this point, except you guys don’t have that sibling hatred, you’re actually great friends. Even to now, adulthood.

You two still each other frequently — having lots of meetups at one another’s house to hang out, or playing games on your guy’s computer to rage at “hackers,” when in reality you two just really sucked at Craftmine Warbeds.

Recently however — you’ve been going through some problems. Your mental health was going down, and fast. At first you just insulted yourself, bow, physical harm was a little too often.

Sollux didn’t know though.

You’d never tell your best friend.

Things have just been getting worse and worse. You still talk to Sollux, but only over text. You refuse to play games, go to his house, or have him come to yours.

And you’ve been harming yourself more and more.

However, you begrudgingly agreed to have Sollux come over. You were feeling better today, and you knew Sollux was catching on and worried. Either way, you were feeling better today anyway. So why not?

What a mistake.

You forgot you were having him coming over, and began spiraling. You weren’t even sure what caused it — and that thought alone made it worse. So, you grabbed a kitchen knife, beginning to cut deep into your arms on your living room couch, watching the blood seep down your skin slowly.

Suddenly—

“Yo, sorry i’m late, made it th-...” Sollux walked into your hive unannounced, the door falling closed behind him as he walked straight inside your living room. He froze however, his eyes widening behind his glasses as he caught the scene in front of him.

But he didn’t judge, didn’t yell, or even speak.

He just gently approached, slowly taking the knife from your hand before he wrapped his arms around your midriff, bringing you into a tight hug without saying anything, not sure if you wanted to talk or not, but he wanted to dhow that he cared. So he stayed, his arms wrapped around you, thumbs rubbing gentle circles into your back.
