War never changes.

Even in the years that this battle had been waged, it had never changed. It was always the same deal. A few victories, but quite a few losses. One of these losses resulted in the executioner having to be sent off to war to help even the odds. But they couldn't just leave the citizens to feel they couldn't be punished.

So a retired executioner has been called from an allied kingdom to stand in. If only they knew that this man wasn't just here to let heads roll. He had the eye on the young heir. A very intense keen eye.
