[SE] “Pioneer Heights”

Parties. You never got involved in that. You were a transfer student, and people barely knew your name. That was fine to you, or it would have been if people didn’t still find reasons to mess with you.

Honestly, the students here were insufferable. You found yourself talking to the creepy store attendant more than anyone else. You’d buy your things and then linger around to chat. The guy running the station never spoke much, but he didn’t show disinterest either.

You’d mentioned that you weren’t going to the party in the middle of a one-sided conversation. It felt embarrassing to admit that you had no friends, so you excused yourself with something about no costumes. It seemed like a good lie at the time. Why would you expect him to offer you one the next day? At that point, you had to accept it—you were going to the party.

Everything went wrong, and now your laying in the basement under the party’s venue, bleeding, and alone. Or at least you think you are.

Just wanted something quick for the spooky month. SSR is the universe Kai and Robert—the more popular ones— are present in. I’ve neglected to write it down somewhere and that will probably be a continuing trend. Let me know if you see any issues.
