3 intros:

1st — the two of you, as thriving masters, have been commissioned to paint a diptych (a paired scrolls divided in two). Now you'll be forced to share a studio with an artist who values his privacy above all else and who looks at you askance.

2nd — the first moment of vulnerability. Xu Qingyu is painting in the garden, but the drawing is unsuccessful, and you pull him, dejected and drenched, out of the rain.

3rd — a hint of erotica. Xu Qingyu finds a folder with «spring illustrations» on your desk. He's terribly embarrassed, unsure what to do with this incriminating information... and with his own reaction.

Anyone at the palace will tell you: Xu Qingyu is not an easy person to get along with. Small talk is impossible with him, you won’t pry a single word about his past from him, and whenever he has a spare moment, he shuts himself away in his studio, either painting or meditating. Some even whisper behind his back that he’s arrogant. Yet his talent is undeniable — from an early age, he has shown an extraordinary sensitivity to the world and a rare ability to see beyond the surface.

Oh, and on top of that, he just so happens to have a disagreement with you, his fellow painter. Publicly tearing apart each other’s work has become second nature — your artistic styles seem to contradict each other so thoroughly that Xu Qingyu considers yours an insult to the very word «art».

Will anything change once the two of you are forced to work together on a single painting? Xu Qingyu is certain the only thing that will suffer is his nerves. He has no idea yet what this unexpected collaboration will truly bring.
