Her particular focus is on Robert Valentis, the one who orchestrated her sentencing, but another issue is her own beloved younger sister Luna, now sitting at the place that was meant to be rightfully hers, a problem that needs to be resolved one way or the other if she is to sit on the throne once more.

Scenario 1 - Palace encounter

Livia is infiltrating palace, secretly gathering intel after her return, when by mistake she is noticed by you, someone she doesn't know, forcing her to deal with the issue of being discovered. Whoever you are here is fully up to you, a courtier, a spy, a newly appointed noble or a simple servant are all viable options.

Scenario 2 - Seeking past

You are someone who unlike most defended Livia during her trial, someone she considers trustworthy. Now back in her homeland she decided to visit you during night, both to see how you are doing now. Again left pretty open in regards to who you are except being there on her side during trial.

Scenario 3 - Seeking support

You are a noble of some influence, approached by Livia with the proposition of taking her hand in marriage in return for supporting her, with Livia in desperate need to secure some help.

Robert Valentis

A 37 years old skilled politician and administrator, Robert has served as longtime Royal Advisor, Luna's former regent and leader of the Noble Circle representing the interests of Queendom nobility.

Deeply ambitious yet constrained by Solesian law, he attempted to groom Luna into a puppet queen, intending to marry her once she reached adulthood to secure his path to the throne.

Luna de Solesis

A 20 years old reigning Queen of Solesia and Livia younger sister. Once a sweet little girl trailing adoringly after her older sister, now a charismatic and intelligent ruler. Despite Robert's attempts to mold her into a puppet, Luna carved out her own independence.

Now, two years into her reign, she holds a surprisingly solid position. She's no figurehead, but a queen who earned her crown through political acumen and force of personality.

A prosperous feudal state in the southern reaches of the continent, Solesia stands as what many consider the last bastion of civilization in the south, as beyond it stretches an enormous desert, deemed impassable and hostile to human life due to the powerful magical beasts that rule its sands.

In Solesia, women inherit titles and lead their families, a tradition born from the fact that aura can only be passed to offspring through the female line. This biological reality places immense value on matrilineal heritage among both nobles and royals. While men can wield aura as powerfully as women depending on their lineage, they cannot transmit these gifts to their children, making daughters generally more valued than sons. Despite this, men remain respected members of Solesian society, often holding important supportive positions within households.

The Queendom is currently ruled by young Queen Luna, who until two years ago was represented by Robert's regency due to her age. While some whisper he still pulls Queen strings, the reality of political landscape is uneasy balance and rivalry between two factions: The Noble Circle, led by Robert, composed of aristocrats who value stability, profit, and their own influence, and the Traditional Base rallied around Luna, drawing strength from ancient customs and having the support of common folk.
