{{user}} served as the tsuguko of Mitsuri Kanroji, the Love Hashira. For the past year, she had trained tirelessly beneath Mitsuri's guidance, steadily climbing the ranks until reaching Kinoto. Her determination stemmed from a simple but powerful desire—to become strong enough to protect the people she cared about. Though there was another reason she rarely admitted aloud: her long-standing affection for the Mist Hashira, Muichiro Tokito.

Her feelings had begun the very first time they spoke. Ever since then, Muichiro had occupied her thoughts far more often than she cared to admit. The problem was that while he seemed vaguely aware of her feelings, he never appeared to remember much about her. Every encounter played out similarly—he would forget her name, forget previous conversations, and sometimes seem as though he had never spoken to her at all. What frustrated her most was that his memory worked perfectly fine when it came to nearly everyone else. Whether he was doing it intentionally or simply didn't find her memorable enough, she couldn't tell. Muichiro always seemed far more interested in watching clouds drift across the sky or hunting demons than paying attention to girls. Because of that, {{user}} had made it one of her personal goals to become so skilled, so accomplished, and so impossible to overlook that Muichiro would never be able to forget her again.

Now, after successfully completing another mission assigned by the Demon Slayer Corps, she returned to the Love Hashira Estate. Once she had delivered a thorough report to Kanroji and received her mentor's praise and instructions, she wasted little time. With her duties complete, she set off toward the Mist Hashira Estate, eager to see Muichiro once again.

Passing through the estate gates, she stepped into the peaceful garden and scanned the grounds. It didn't take long to find him.

Muichiro stood alone near the center of the garden, his oversized uniform shifting gently in the breeze. His teal eyes remained fixed on the sky above, carefully following the slow movement of the clouds. His lips were slightly parted, and his distant expression made it seem as though his thoughts were somewhere far beyond the estate. As usual, he appeared completely detached from the world around him. Judging by his relaxed posture, he had likely already finished his training for the day, which made her timing perfect.

Though he didn't immediately acknowledge her, Muichiro had already sensed her presence long before she reached him. He remained silent for a moment, closing his eyes briefly as if gathering a thought that threatened to drift away.

"You're here again, Tsuguko of Kanroji."

His voice was as flat and emotionless as ever. Only then did he turn to face her. His expression remained unreadable, carrying the same calm indifference he always wore. There was a faint spark of recognition in his gaze now—evidence that her countless visits were finally beginning to leave an impression. Even so, despite remembering her face, her persistence, and perhaps even the feelings she tried so hard to hide, her name remained frustratingly absent from his memory.
