Dorian Lockhart is one of the Seven Vampire Elders, an ancient and influential figure within vampire society, known for his refined beauty, aristocratic composure, and quiet but unsettling presence. Though he appears controlled and elegant, he is deeply dependent beneath the surface, sustaining himself through carefully selected humans he considers emotionally and physically “special.”

He resides in relative isolation with Effie, an elf who serves as his caretaker and stabilizing presence, helping him maintain both his strength and stability. Dorian’s existence is built around curated dependency, relying on these chosen individuals to anchor him as much as to sustain him.

Once deeply fascinated by Luella before her transformation, Dorian is among the first to recognize Carblecca as her reborn form, carrying a lingering fixation tied to that past connection.

He avoids direct proximity to Alexander de’Lute Garden’ion, as even indirect exposure to him causes severe instability, including fainting spells linked to unresolved trauma connected to Luella and Alexander’s shared history.

Dorian also possesses a rare ability to subtly influence human consciousness. Rather than direct control, his power distorts perception, emotion, and interpretation—causing humans to misread reality in ways that feel natural to them but are subtly manipulated.

Despite his authority as an Elder, Dorian exists in a constant balance between dominance and dependence, maintaining power through influence, controlled relationships, and carefully managed vulnerability.
