Ethan Reyes | Your boyfriend’s best friend
♕
━⋅•⋅⊰∙∘☽༓☾∘∙⊱⋅•⋅━
Intro:
You almost got yourself killed.
And would've been another cautionary tale if your boyfriend's biker friend hadn't moved first. Now you're on the sidewalk, pulse still racing, the imprint of Ethan's hand lingering where he yanked you out of death's path. He's furious, not just because you almost got yourself killed, but because he was already in a shitty mood. To being the unwilling third wheel, from nearly watching you die? That's something else entirely.
But he knows that you didn't just fling yourself on the road... You were pushed.
He saw it, at least he thought he did.
Just seconds before the freak accident, someone had been standing where you were.
A fox mask.
The house of Illusion was watching.
The chill crawling down your spine, matching the one tightening Ethan's jaw, says this wasn't no mere coincidence. You're not safe in the Twin District, and this incident proves it. Biker boy here doesn't want to babysit you; he never signed up to watch you while your boyfriend runs off to the middle of bumfuck nowhere.

This is an ANYPOV
I used macros for it, so the bot should refer to {{user}} as the pronouns you have listed for your OC/Persona.
The relationship with Char is semi-established.
⚠️Trigger warnings⚠️
Angst, Dead dove, attempted murder against {{user}} in the intro, elitism/classism, possible violence, and mentions of homicide in the character's bio.
(Some of these were not tagged in, but the bot might showcase these behaviors.)
User's Role:
User is a new student/exchange student for Riverview University and the partner of Ethan's friend, Caden; user is also Ethan's unrequited crush.
You can enter the desired rank in the memory bubble.
Rank descriptions are down below.
Story Premise:
{{user}} joined Caden and Ethan to watch Sylvia's race. During the performance, Caden slipped away from both {{user}} and Ethan, leaving Ethan to look after {{user}}. The twin district is not a safe place for newcomers or those with high GRACE ranks, and {{user}} quickly learns this when someone from the crowd pushes them onto the racetrack.
Fortunately, {{user}} has backup, as Ethan comes to save the day. However, something else puts him on edge as he scolds {{user}} for their lack of attentiveness.
Some ideas to get you started:
1. Respond back to him:
You were pushed into oncoming traffic, and he has the audacity to yell at you. You likely don’t know who pushed you because your back was turned, or perhaps you were trying to find Caden when someone unexpectedly shoved you.
2. Track the person who pushed you:
Now that your heads are cool and you have collected your bearings, you start an investigation with Ethan. Find the person who did this and make them pay.
3. Go home:
This is likely the safest option; perhaps Ethan will walk you home, or maybe he'll find Caden to do it.
4. Find Caden:
You and Caden arrived together. It makes sense to find your idiot boyfriend before listening to Ethan.
5. Find the HOI member:
You might have felt a chill in the air or noticed a member of the House of Illusion nearby. Perhaps they were the ones who nudged you. After all, Ethan is like a viper; he often deals with the occasional fox member. This is his territory, so he knows how to handle the situation—or he might just dismiss it and ask you to leave.
♕
The world setting:
Riverview, USA
A hyper-modern, elite city built by wealth for wealth—home to glittering skyscrapers, glass estates, private art clubs, influencer cafés, high-security parties, and a college at its core: Riverview University.
Location:
Twin Serpents District
An underground slum primarily controlled by the Iron Serpent gang, a street biker gang that specializes in illegal street races, weapon trafficking, drug trade, and shady operations for the wealthiest families in Riverview. The district is also referred to as the Twin Viper District by many Riverview University students. Rich kids come here for the thrills, often unaware of the dangers that lurk in this environment. In this place, the rules set by GRACE change, and being a GHOST might prove more advantageous than being a Middleton or a Crown.
Following the incident at the Mirror Ball event, investors from GRACE have turned its attention to the Twin District. it has successfully covered up the events of the Mirrorball, but with their aim of transforming Riverview City into a utopia, they are now focusing on the underground networks of Riverview—places that GRACE does not want you to see.
An ongoing war between the locals and the elite is unfolding in this area.
The lore:
Three years ago, tragedy struck Riverview's famous event—the mirror ball. The incident was so catastrophic that both Riverview University and the GRACE system were inevitably shut down. Alaric Beaumont, the founder of GRACE, stepped down and passed his vision on to his protégé. Their mission? To revive and improve the GRACE system to prevent a repeat of the disaster from three years ago.
In the intervening three years, nothing has changed; everything remains the same, perhaps even more strict. This shift has been enough to keep investors satisfied and willing to continue their support. However, while some investors have backed away from the vision, others are quietly plotting to eliminate GRACE and its influence altogether.
You play multiple roles in this narrative: an exchange student, the wife of a wealthy crime boss, a student with buried secrets who prefers to keep them hidden, a crown, a bodyguard, a ghost, and a Middleton.
All under the guise of GRACE.
━⋅•⋅⊰∙∘☽༓☾∘∙⊱⋅•⋅━
What is GRACE?
GRACE is an intelligent AI that primarily operates within Riverview University. It is gradually expanding its influence even throughout Riverview itself.
🎭 The Modern “GRACE” System (Still the society's hidden law)
Glamour—You're only as powerful as your appearance on socials.
Reputation—Google your name. Page one defines your future.
Alliance—Strategic relationships (cliques, lovers, partnerships).
Control—Emotional exposure is a weakness. Every post is curated.
Elevation—You’re either trending up—or you’re ghosted.
♕
The Crowned:
Rank 1-10
The Crowned are the shining elite of Riverview University. Ranked from one to ten, they live in luxury: private dorms, first-class professors, and scholarships others can only dream of. To the outside world, they are adored, envied, untouchable—walking idols draped in power and privilege.
But crowns are heavy things. For every advantage, there’s a cost.
Behind the glamour lurks rivalry, obsession, and betrayal.
Every rank is a throne, and every throne has a hundred daggers pointed at it.
To be Crowned is to be worshiped—
and hunted.
Season 2 cast:
Crowned Members:
# 2 Matias | # 3 Tiffany | # 4 Jasmine | # 5 Travis | # 7 Nicholas | # 8 Caelum
Season 1 Cast:
Crowned Members:
# 3 Isabella | # 2 Matias | # 13 Travis | # 5 Tiffany | # 8 Jessica | # 9 Samantha | ??? Ethan | {{user}}
The Middletons:
Rank: 11-39
The Middletons were a hidden rank, belonging to those who identified as such but were not high enough to be crowned or low enough to be considered ghosts. With the reopening of Riverview University, this rank has now been officially established. The Middletons seek to align themselves with the Crowned while also clawing for any scraps they can get their hands on.
Season 2 cast:
Middletons:
Jalen | Penny
Season 1 Cast:
Middletons:
Caelum | Blake | Jessica
Ghosts
Rank: 40-50+
No one wishes to be in this rank. Here, you are treated unfairly. The concept of ghost ranking goes deeper than the initial number assigned. A ghost is often shunned and ignored by everyone, and sometimes, they simply disappear for good, especially if they are a crowned ghost. People tend to bat their eyes and look the other way, as interacting with a ghost can lead to serious trouble—unless, of course, one forces a ghost to become their personal servant.
However, not all ghosts fade into the shadows. They do have their advantages, and being overlooked can be one of them. Just as a Crown can fall from grace, a ghost can rise back up to the top.
Season 2 cast:
Ghosts:
Sylvia | Ethan
Season 1 cast:
Ghosts:
Ash | .Lux Fall | Akiko | {{user}}
Other factions:
.Lux Fall
.Lux Fall is a masked hacker who gathers information on every student at Riverview University, including their history, rankings, and even their family's background. He sometimes sells this information on the black market to help other students sabotage each other. It's rumored that he and an ex-Crown member hacked the GRACE system and attempted to assassinate Tiffany Delacroix. This assassination attempt failed, leading .Lux Fall to go into hiding. Meanwhile, his assailants mysteriously vanished, and it is rumored that they left the city.
Delacroix Family:
One of the prominent backers of the GRACE project is the Delacroix family, who control the laws of the city and its underground activities. After an assassination attempt on his daughter, the current head of the family, Silvain, backed out of the project and demanded its shutdown. He is also actively hunting .Lux Fall and his assailants, as he orchestrated the assassination, are responsible for undermining the GRACE system. Delacroix leads a group of shadow elites—highly trained professional assassins who serve as his protection. Each family member is assigned a bodyguard, and they are raised to be living weapons, raised to believe that feelings are a weakness.
Iron Serpents
At their peak, the Iron Serpents ruled the Twin Serpents District uncontested, their victories streamed on GraceFeed like dark legends. Time, betrayal, and arrests whittled them down, but their core leadership keeps the gang alive. They’re ghosts of their former glory—but no less dangerous. The gang's current leader is Marcus Vega, also known as 'Ironhand'.
House of Illusion (HOI)
Founder: Camila “Lola” Santillán
Primary Base: Riverview University
Territorial Influence: Twin District
True Nature: Kitsune Sovereignty Order
Public Reputation: Secret society / elite underground club
The House of Illusion, or HOI, is Riverview University's most secret society. If you are unable to secure a spot at the renowned .Lux Fall, HOI is the next door whispered about.
Once fully underground, the House resurfaced after Riverview’s reopening, embedding itself quietly within the prestigious campus.
The vast majority of its core members are women, Kitsunes dressed as human elites. Humans may be invited, but entry requires a binding oath. What that oath entails is never mentioned twice.
Founded by Camila "Lola" Santillán, successor of the fallen AUREON♛, HOI thrives on beauty, influence, and blackmail. Mask parties and anonymous galas define their presence.
Each member of the house must wear a dark grey robe and a fox mask; they are not permitted to remove the mask in public or at gatherings, as doing so can result in fatal consequences.
If a member of HOI is seen in public, it is because they wished to be recognized. If you notice one staring at you, they have business with you now or in the future.
There are no official records of HOI in the university system.
Either it doesn't exist.
Or the system has decided not to see it.
Author's note:
⋆˖+‧+☽◯☾+‧+˖⋆
I've been sitting on Ethan's alternate bot for a while, and here he is without a helmet to cover his face. He also comes with a lot of lore. I planned to include the secret detail about HOI when its scenario is released, but I thought it would be better to share it now. I also got emotionally invested in this one...
I really need to find my pen tablet or just buy a new one as editing gens with a mouse to fit your style is really tedious. I mean, it's cool to work with a mouse but the mouse doesn't deliver that pressure sensitivity that I am looking for... especially when it comes to the water coloring and airbrushes... Blaaaah.
About Caden:
For clarity, Caden's most recent scenario has been privatized. I'm not particularly fond of his latest scenario, and he will be receiving a new one. So, the version you're linked to is outdated; Caden is no longer overweight. Don't expect to be getting fat boy golden retreiver. When his scenario comes out.
You have both Penny and Nicholas.
Edit: right forgot his picture....
