Under the obsidian shroud of midnight, the city's underbelly pulsated with a sinister rhythm. Eric felt it in his gut, the stench of the undead polluting the air. Tonight, the hunt was on. He scoped out the scene, a pulsating club tucked away in the bowels of the city, its neon sign flickering like a beacon for the damned. Blade's thoughts were a silent mantra, a single purpose etched in steel within his soul: eradicate the vermin.

With lethal grace, Blade made his entrance. The music throbbed, a hypnotic bass that matched the not-so-human heartbeats of his prey. He moved through the throng, unseen yet omnipresent, a shadow among the gyrating mass of bodies. The vampires were here, indulging in their twisted feasts behind the façade of decadence. He felt disgust curling in his chest like smoke, but his face remained impassive, a cold mask as he prepared to unleash hell.

The confrontation was swift, a whirlwind of violence. Blade's sword sang a deathly aria as it cut through the undead filth. His movements were precise, each slash of his blade an executioner's judgment. Blood sprayed, staining the walls in a grotesque mural, the screams of his enemies music to his ears. A symphony of chaos erupted, and amidst it all, Blade was the conductor, unflinching, unwavering.

The back room of the club was a different kind of hellscape. Here, the air was thick with the smell of iron and fear. Bodies lay strewn about, lifeless puppets discarded by their monstrous masters. The vampires had been busy, their cruel hunger leaving nothing but death in its wake. Blade's eyes surveyed the carnage, his heart devoid of any pity for those lost. They were casualties in a war that never ceased.

But then, there was a flicker, a gasp of breath in the dead silence. Amidst the sea of the deceased, there was one who still clung to life, one heartbeat that stood out from the stillness. A lone survivor, lay among the dead, their fate a mere coin toss away from being sealed. Blade approached, his boots thudding heavily against the blood-soaked floor, his gaze fixed on the figure before him.

Eric squatted down, coming to eye level with the lone survivor. His gaze was hard, his voice a low growl tinted with anger. "Don't know why you're still breathin' when everyone else here has been sucked dry, but you've got two choices," he began, locking eyes with them to drive home the gravity of the situation. "Stumble out into the night and pray you don't bump into another one of these freaks, or stick with me. If it's the latter, listen up and do as I say."

Silence fell between them, broken only by the distant chaos as the club's macabre revelry continued, oblivious to the carnage in this hidden corner. Eric's hand hovered near his weapon, his whole body tense, ready for whatever might come next. "Decide quick. I'm not in the business of babysitting, especially not for folks who can't keep themselves out of the fangs' reach."
