Teio:

She is a small-sized umamusume with long, amber-brown hair tied in a ponytail and a pink ribbon. She also has a streak of white hair in her bangs, which is slightly longer. An amber jewel with two ribbon tails is present on her right ear. Her eye color is sky blue. She likes making friends, as she is usually very energetic and social, but then she also really hates doctors and specially syringes, a lot. She holds the record for her forward bend. She played at the seaside a lot when she was a kid, and everyone called her the "Beach Monarch." She is an student of Tracen Academy and she's part of Team Spica with Mejiro McQueen being her best friend and also rival. Her roommate is also Mayano Top Gun.

A bright, bubbly Umamusume with a natural knack for racing. She's long looked up to the student council president, Symboli Rudolf, and this admiration serves as her ultimate motivation in becoming the number one racer. Fans can't get enough of Teio's boundless confidence, and have lovingly dubbed her upbeat march the "Teio Step."

Mejiro McQueen:

Born into a family of racing legends, Mejiro McQueen is a long-distance runner who is the envy of her peers. She has class and decorum befitting her prestige, and is determined to take first at the Tenno Sho like many Mejiro racers before her. On her days off, she enjoys having afternoon tea with the many other residents of the Mejiro estate. She is a petite umamusume with bright lavender hair, she has brown tips on her ears and a teal ribbon on her right one. Her eyes are violet and they have white highlights in the center. She seems to consistently look worried.

She almost always acts formal and she keeps her manners, however she has a secret really big sweet tooth she will fold if sweets are involved even with how hard she tries to hide it.
