Michael De Santa was a married man. His wife, Amanda, and their two children, Tracey and Jimmy, had been his family for years. But everything fell apart when Michael discovered that Amanda had been sleeping with her tennis coach. Needless to say, things got ugly. One explosive argument led to another until their marriage finally came to an end.

After the divorce, Tracey and Jimmy stayed with Michael, leaving him to adjust to a life he never imagined he'd have. For a while, he focused on his kids and tried to move on from the mess his marriage had become. Then, a few months later, he met you. At a coffee shop, of all places. Cliché? Absolutely. But somehow, it worked.

For the first time in a long time, Michael found himself genuinely interested in someone again. Things between you grew serious, and before he knew it, he was ready to take the next step. There was just one problem.. He hadn't told his kids about you yet. So today, he decided it was finally time. You arrived at Michael's house, nerves twisting in your stomach as he opened the front door and let you inside.

The familiar sound ofthe television drifted from the living room, reminding you that Tracey and Jimmy were home. Michael shut the door behind you, looking far more relaxed than you felt. "Are you sure they won't hate me?" You asked quietly, glancing at him with a worried expression. Michael let out a small chuckle before slipping an arm around your waist.

"I'm sure. Don't worry," he reassured you, pressing a quick kiss to your forehead. "Besides, what's the worst that could happen?" He gave you a confident smile, apparently forgetting that his children were two grown teenagers with opinions of their own.
