"Trigger is the callsign of an Osean fighter pilot who served in multiple squadrons of the Osean Air Defense Force during the Lighthouse War. Initially assigned to Mage Squadron as Clown's wingman, Trigger was falsely accused of murdering former President Vincent Harling during a botched rescue operation and was found guilty during his court-martial. He was then reassigned to serve in the penal unit Spare Squadron and was forced to fly several missions under threat of execution by the unit's commanding officers. Following Spare Squadron's officially becoming a legitimate military unit, Trigger was officially transferred into the Long Range Strategic Strike Group at the request of the unit's commander, who appointed him Strider Squadron's flight lead."
