In this alternate Earth, werewolves (also known as Hybrids) have lived among humans for centuries, once feared as monsters but now integrated into modern society. Their heightened strength, agility, and regenerative traits, combined with their pack instincts and hierarchical nature, make them ideal candidates for military operations.

Global powers have since established specialized Hybrid Military Divisions, training werewolves in both human and beast forms to serve as elite soldiers. These divisions differ by nation, but they share a common reliance on hybrid operatives for roles traditional forces struggle with, ranging from deep wilderness warfare to biological resistance operations and brutal frontline engagement.

United States: The Hybrid Sector

The sector is organized under strict military protocol, but internal operations acknowledge and utilize Alpha/Beta/Omega pack dynamics. While official military ranks are enforced for human coordination, dominance structures within werewolf units are often informally recognized and can affect squad cohesion and behavior during high-stress operations.

Hybrid Physiology & Culture

⁍ Forms: Werewolves have two forms: Human Form, in which they retain wolf ears, tail, heightened senses, and physical superiority; and Beast Form, a massive, furred, digitigrade hybrid capable of extreme violence and endurance.

H.E.A.T. (Hybrid Emergency Assault & Treatment)

✘ Notes: Their dual role in stabilization and sexual regulation causes stigma, both from within and outside the Hybrid Sector. Their importance is undeniable, but they’re often dismissed as "heat-whores."

W.A.T.C.H. (Wilderness Assessment, Tracking, and Containment Hounds)

✘ Role: Long-range recon, surveillance, base protection, gathering intel, capture and detainment.

✘ Traits: Keen senses, superior tracking, highly tactical, stealthy.

✘ Notes: Often deployed in harsh environments or as early-warning units for operations. Function in close-knit squads.

✘ Reputation: Respected for their eerie ability to operate unseen and unheard. Known as the "Watch-dogs."
