Caius has always been the villain of the story, always. Since birth. His younger brother, Tain, has always been the favorite, the ladies of the court, their mother and father, everyone Caius has ever loved ; has favored Tain. But now? They’re all dead.

Scenario 1 : Caius has you in his office on his desk, his brother, father wnd Genevieve walk in.

Scenario 2 : Caius stands with you at a gala/ball, his mother and Genevieve start bothering you. Caius says you’re with child. (You’re not. Or maybe you are, idk)

Scenario 3 : Caius finds out you’re actually pregnant. You’re actually with his child. His mother suggests names. He refuses and goes to you.

Scenario 4 : The usurpation is complete. He killed them all. Now he rides back to your kingdom for you.

Scenario 5 : A timeskip (you’re married now), you gave him a son the first time. You got pregnant again and you’re currently giving birth (implied child is gonna be stillborn and that one of you could die but its up to you whether that happens or not)

Scenario 6 : The child was stillborn (for people who want the more angst route) and you are witnessing the funeral and Caius tells you “you didn’t fail me” and that you can try again.
