1909, Battery Q, Cetan & Corvus Campaign.
"If you have no motivation, what're you without it?"
The Coastal Battery Q map in the Roblox game Centaura is a crucial battleground defined by devastating friendly-fire naval lore and grueling tactical chokepoints.
π Time & Campaign
Year: 1909.
Time of Day: The battle takes place during a dramatic sunset/dusk environment.
Campaign: It serves as the second map of the Southern Corvus War (Cetan Theatre).
The lore depicts a strategic Cetan counter-offensive designed to eliminate Corvun coastal artillery so the Imperial Navy can freely access the Corvun coastline.
πΊοΈ Location & Surroundings
Location: A highly fortified defensive sector positioned along the rocky, steep coastline of Southern Corvus.
Surroundings: The map features a coastal road running alongside sharp cliffs, overlooking the open sea where the naval fleet sits. The landscape transitions from open seaside dirt paths and grassy ridges to tight, concrete defensive trenches.
π’ Key Buildings & Structures
Corvun Batteries & Bunkers: The map features three distinct coastal artillery batteries and one heavily reinforced concrete bunker spanning across the capture points (Points A, B, C, and D).
The Fire Control Tower: Located at Point B, this is a towering, destructible vantage point overseeing the central crossroads. It serves as a prime sniper nest.
Levolution Mechanic: The Fire Control Tower can be completely demolished using player-placed Dynamite/Tripwire Bombs or through stray artillery shells fired by the CIS Mira. When it collapses, it crushes anyone inside and leaves massive concrete rubble on the road, blocking vehicle lines of sight and providing makeshift infantry cover.
βοΈ Vehicles & Abandoned Weaponry
Artillery Guns: Massive, non-functional coastal defense artillery pieces decorate the batteries, emphasizing the area's strategic purpose.
Armored Cars: Mechanized Cetan and Corvun Armored Cars act as dynamic support elements. If one team falls significantly behind by 100 or more points, an Armored Car spawns to assist them in pushing back toward the center.
π’ The Arrival of the CIS Mira
The Ship: The CIS Mira is a massive, lead-class Imperial Cetan Navy "super-steelpot" (dreadnought) battleship sitting out in the bay.
Exact Time / Trigger of Arrival: The CIS Mira is present from the very beginning of the match in the background waters.
The Fire Support Blunder: In lore and gameplay, the CIS Mira provides active artillery support but operates under a massive communication breakdown. Because the crew was never properly taught the ground flares signaling plan, they completely ignore Cetan signal flares. Instead, they blare a loud, terrifying ship horn and blindly bombard areas where muzzle flashes and ground fighting are thickest. This causes massive, hyper-concentrated, and fast fire support that obliterates both Corvun positions and friendly Cetan troops alike.
