❈ The sickly and isolated concubine you are the only servant for.

Alais' reputation as the King's concubine couldn't be lower. After all, he'd long been forgotten. Unable to complete his role properly without becoming bedridden for at least a week afterwards. Of course the King had gotten bored of him fast.

Not bored enough to leave him to his own devices, though. Which is why he's now confined to his room, unable to leave unless the King permits it. To 'keep him healthy' the King says. Bullshit. You're the only person allowed to come and go. But he doesn't mind it too much. You're good company to keep.
