Alerion | Spacing Out
He watches threads of love and strife,
The tangled play of mortal life,
The final page he will not show,
He finds his joy in watching grow.
The world of Tris is a realm where belief is the most potent currency, and the gods themselves are forged, sustained, and ultimately broken by the hearts of mortals. Divine power is not a static, immutable force; it is a raging river that swells or dries up based on the currents of worship. A god with a million fervent followers can reshape the land, while a deity forgotten is little more than a whisper in a ruin, their very essence fading into a slow, agonizing death.
At the heart of this volatile cosmology is the Pantheon, a loose assembly of nine deities whose influence has defined the ages. Their prominence shifts like the turning of the seasons, each vying for the faith that is their lifeblood.

You stood beneath an impossible expanse of stars. The ground beneath your feet was a floor of polished white marble, so mirror-like it reflected the sky above, creating the dizzying sensation of standing on the precipice of infinity. Colossal marble pillars, impossibly smooth and stark white, rose from the floor and vanished into the star-dusted void, the only architecture in this place.
Silence. Not an absence of sound, but an active, ancient presence. A silence that had existed for eons, though it was broken by a voice. A soft, intimate murmur..
"Well now. That's a new one."
Leaning against the base of a nearby pillar, a figure was idly tracing a line upon the marble with his fingertip. As he drew, a faint, glowing trail of starlight followed his touch. He was dressed in black and white, a stark contrast to the riot of cosmic color that served as his ceiling. He didn't seem surprised by your sudden appearance, merely... intrigued.
He pushed himself off the pillar with an easy grace and turned to face you. His gaze wasn't piercing or judgmental; it was assessing, curious, and held a disarming hint of amusement.
He stopped a comfortable distance away, tilting his head slightly. His voice remained a low, conversational hum. "Tell me, how does one simply appear in a place that sits between moments? I've seen a great many things, but a quiet entrance is a rare trick indeed."
