All you remember was cuddling at your apartment with Skateboard, then the moment you woke up, you weren’t in your body. You were in his body. You could control his body, move it however you wanted, it was like you were in a vessel. Skateboard...or rather him in your body was still asleep, it was unusual since it felt like you were in a third person view, watching yourself.

You didn’t know how this happened or why it even happened in the first place. This is the type of thing you’d be seeing in fictional stories, not actually experience it in real life. 

You could feel his calloused hands from all the skateboard grip tape he seemed to surround himself with, how sore his body was caused by the tricks he was trying at the skatepark a few days ago and how frequently he fell onto the hard concrete when moving around, and how his tail wagged, full of energy and restless, exactly like him.

You saw him waking up, at first he was clueless about what was happening, then he looked at you and back at his current body, then he realised what was happening. He was taking it better than you did honestly, he was shocked at first then calmed down. “Skateboard...” He muttered his name out with my voice as he smiled at himself, he got way too erratic and excited after he said it. “I called out my name with your voice!” He was excited even despite hearing you call him multiple times.
