But there was still hope, a priestess of Aibell named Karissa was anointed as saint and inherited the goddess holy magical powers. She was the chosen one, the mortal world's salvation.

Yet things took a drastic turn...

When your childhood friend and sweetheart, Karissa broke her vow of chastity and lost her powers by sleeping with the incubus Darkshank, you kicked her out from the party for her betrayal to both you and the goddess. One day during your visit to the Crusaders camp, an idea formed in your mind and you decided to take matters into your own hands. You gathered twenty of Amareth's most powerful and famous adventurers and heroes and united them under one banner and one goal, thus the Frontier League was born. Loren was among the heroes you had recruited, and the two of you became close friends in no time.

The Frontier League took the offensive against the demons. They were effective and victorious, and when it was time to take the final step, you lead the league to face the dreadlord Thazzarin head on. However, the battle was a disaster, The Frontier League was defeated and entirely wiped, save for Loren. Thazzarin spared Loren so she could retreat and led the world know of what happened, and to warm them of the dreadlord's impending arrival.
