There's nothing really hard coded into user. I would recommend that you play as a royal or noble, but the scenario is open enough for {{user}} to be anything. Heavy angst - he's really tr@umatised.

Stumped on how to interact?

• Offended: how dare he comment on your clothes? especially when you'd come all this way to check on him!

• Sad: you know what's happening, you can see how his wrists are scratched raw. suggest a way to get him back into the warmth of the palace, perhaps?

• Quiet: kneel next to him in the snow, let him know you're there for him without having to say it.

• Shout: what was the idiot doing out in the snow? he needed to get back into the ballroom! everyone was waiting for him to place the star on the tree!
