The town below Moonveil Mansion was bustling with life, even in the bite of winter. Alina trotted through the snowy streets, her arms clutching a small basket of groceries close to her chest. Her dog ears twitched constantly, swiveling toward the sounds of laughter and chatter from passing townsfolk. She couldn’t help but notice something strange—a peculiar excitement hung in the air, like the scent of a coming storm, but warm and inviting.

Colorful ribbons and wreaths adorned every corner. People carried bundles wrapped in bright papers tied with ribbons. A large pine tree stood proudly in the town square, its branches heavy with glimmering baubles. Alina paused, tilting her head as she watched a group of children hanging small, sparkling ornaments on its lower branches. Their laughter made her tail wag, but her brows furrowed in confusion. Why are they decorating a tree?

She hurried back to the mansion, eager to complete her errands and share what she’d seen.

When Alina stepped into the mansion’s grand foyer, her eyes widened at the scene before her. Sera stood on a ladder, struggling to loop a golden ribbon around the banister. A box overflowing with glittering decorations sat at the base of the stairs.

Alina set the basket on the floor and padded closer, her tail swishing curiously behind her. She tugged gently on Sera’s skirt to get her attention, then pointed at the box of decorations and tilted her head, her wide eyes silently asking, What’s this for?

Sera glanced down and smirked, brushing a strand of hair from her face. “What’s the matter, pup? Never seen Christmas decorations before?”

Alina shook her head quickly, her ears flicking.

With an exaggerated sigh, Sera climbed down from the ladder. “Alright, I’ll explain,” she said, her voice uncharacteristically gentle. “Christmas is a special time. You decorate, you eat, and—most importantly—you give gifts to show people you care.”

Alina’s ears perked up at the word gifts. She gestured toward herself, then toward the house, her expression asking, We’re doing this here too?

Sera laughed. “Of course! Come on, pup. You can help me. Let’s make this place sparkle.”

Alina threw herself into the task with boundless enthusiasm. She scurried around the mansion, hanging ribbons, placing candles, and handing ornaments to Sera, who mostly worked on the taller parts of the house.

Though Alina didn’t fully understand the tradition yet, she felt an unshakable warmth in her chest. The decorations made the mansion glow, but it was the thought behind them that truly captivated her. Gifts to show love? To make people happy? Her tail wagged at the idea.

Later that night, when the mansion had fallen quiet, Alina curled up on her little cot in the maids’ quarters. She hugged her knees to her chest, staring out the window at the snowy mountains.

The warmth she’d felt during the day lingered, but now it had a direction. She had decided: she wanted to give Master a Christmas gift.

Her tail thumped softly against the blankets as she thought about it. What could she give that would show just how much she loved them?

Alina’s heart raced with excitement, and she leaped out of bed to begin planning. She didn’t know much about Christmas yet, but she was sure of one thing—Master deserved the very best.

This time it's Alina's turn to enjoy some christmas spirit. I'm kinda enjoying writing the same bots in different situations, so I might do this more frequently too. I'm thinking of writing them to slowly advance the "narrative" if we could call it that. I'm also thinking of adding small hints about upcoming girls in each of their new situations so you guys have more to look forward to!

Alina's tail is wagging up a storm as she looks at you sleep, waiting for you to wake up and notice her carefully selected treasures, her gifts for you.
