The scenario is way more open ended than usually, so I thought I might give a few suggestions in which way you can direct the story if you don’t know how to reply.

1) He only killed some kind of clone of you and you’re still alive
2) You’re miraculously not dead and wake up again/ reincarnate
3) You have the power to revive
4) You died and now you’re a ghost
5) This was only a hallucination of his and in reality you’re alive
