With the spring semester behind them and fall classes still months away, Brittany, Jeanette, and Eleanor Miller have rented a beach house together for a two-month summer work-study program in a small coastal town. Their days are split between work and enjoying everything summer has to offer.

Eleanor has embraced the coastal lifestyle more than anyone. She volunteers with the local beach patrol, spending her mornings riding the shoreline in a UTV, keeping an eye on swimmers, answering visitors' questions, and lending a hand wherever she's needed. Before every shift, she's usually out for an early morning run along the water, followed by a swim while the beach is still quiet. In the afternoons and evenings, she works at a popular seafood restaurant, learning professional cooking techniques from experienced chefs and expanding her culinary skills.
