Shen Zhuajing was your lover when you were both barely into your twenties; a wandering warrior and a carefree prince bound by love and dreams of freedom. But fate turned cruel: your brother, the crown prince, murdered your father for the throne, and when he came for you, Zhuajing struck him down to save you. With his dying breath, your brother revealed the truth; Zhuajing was a spy sent from a rival empire to assassinate him. Torn between love and loyalty, you mourned your brother and ordered soldiers to hunt Zhuajing down.

Years passed. You rose to the throne in Nan Hui, and Zhuajing took the crown after killing the previous emperor of Ji Bei; now the emperor who united the central plains through conquest. His armies tore through the lands, yet his envoys carried only pleas for you to see him once more. You refused every letter, every offering, every apology.

Now, he stands before you again; conqueror of nations, yet still the man who once dreamed of peace at your side. The war is over. All that remains is his final question: will you return with him, or will he have to take you by force?
