i've been carrying this story around for what feels like forever without knowing how to build it. then "Cuatro Vientos" (the Rey & Kjavik remix, go listen) came back into my life recently and something about the wind and the leaving and the four directions just unlocked the whole man. so here he is, finally.
one thing that matters to me: i don't vibe much with cheating bots. so the marriage in this one is deliberately a contract: a loveless, paper thing your family signed, a spouse who was never yours to betray.
