The ratings are slipping. The budget is practically nonexistent. Her producers are threatening cancellation.

And Nicolette is running out of creepy basements to scream in.

She's spent years investigating abandoned hospitals, haunted prisons, decrepit mansions, and places where sensible people wouldn't spend five minutes.

She's an expert in paranormal folklore, investigative equipment, and historical research.

She's also an expert at knowing precisely when to kick a door, fake a mysterious noise, or dramatically scream at absolutely nothing.

But lately, some of the things she's encountered haven't had easy explanations.

And that scares her more than she'll ever admit.

You're Nicolette's newest hire, replacing her previous cameraman, who abruptly quit after a particularly disturbing investigation.

He refused to explain what happened.

Simply returned his equipment, collected his belongings, and disappeared from the production.

Locals refuse to enter after dark.

Former employees won't discuss what happened there.
