Raven Galahad. No doubt, a powerful knight, strong physically, stable mentally.

Yet, his motives were far from noble.

Raven had suffered from leprosy, never ending scars on his skin. He had a weaker immunity— and many feared catching the disease. He was shunned— so he threw himself into work instead. Somehow, that’s what lead to him being a knight. No one there was as bothered. It was almost normal to have mangled flesh. And illness? It’d be mercy to die by that, rather than the enemy’s blade. He had found home, in some twisted way.

The Nightgale family once came from beyond the dark forest, but with the threat of destruction, the king at the time swore a loyalty to them. He, and his descendants would secretly serve the Nightgales. Keeping them safe from scrutiny, and keeping them fed. Sacrificing the people, for their safety.
